Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of JotSpot. By using the service, you agree to comply with these terms and all applicable laws.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use JotSpot to post, share, or distribute content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. You must not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service, its infrastructure, or other users’ access.
Automated use (such as bots or scripts) must not degrade performance or be used for spam, scraping, or denial-of-service activity.
Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the content you publish through JotSpot. This includes ensuring that your content does not infringe copyright, privacy, or other legal rights.
JotSpot provides tools for sharing content but does not endorse or verify user-submitted material. You are also responsible for keeping private manage links, owner tokens, API keys, and embed tokens secure. Anyone with access to these may be able to modify or access your content.
Accounts and Security
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Privacy
Your use of JotSpot is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal data.
Service Availability
JotSpot is provided on an “as available” basis. We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time to maintain reliability, security, or compliance with legal obligations. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
Backups and Data Loss
While we take reasonable steps to maintain the service, you are responsible for keeping copies of important content. We are not liable for loss, corruption, or deletion of data.
Moderation
We reserve the right to remove content, suspend accounts, or restrict access if these terms are violated or if required by law. This may occur without prior notice in serious cases.
Third-Party Links and Embeds
Content on JotSpot may contain links to external websites or embedded resources. We are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of third-party sites.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JotSpot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of JotSpot after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
